Rebel Stationery is an award-winning British diary and notebook brand based in south London.

Specialising in sustainable luxury goods, our business gives back to women working in the global textile industries by promoting their talents, and working with in-situ charities that safeguard UNESCO Heritage Crafts, support fair working conditions, and promote financial independence for those creating cultural art.

Founded in 2023 by longtime friends Annie Couldrey, Bex Newell & George Thompson, Rebel's aim is to encourage the continued support of traditional UK bookbinding and related crafts, whilst starting a conversation about the way brands use global crafts for their own purposes.

After our first year of trading, we won Diary of the Year 2025 for our unique in-house designed diary layouts, and then five months later were recognised for our business process of licensing from, and working with women weavers, at the Innovation Excellence Awards at Stationers' Hall.

Our continued hope for our mission is to challenge both brand and consumer to make a change in their shopping habits, and be more mindful of where and why they purchase retail products.
